Before use
Like a traditional sauna, the infrared sauna also causes sweating, though less sweat is produced. To prepare for this, it is definitely recommended to drink a few deciliters of good quality tap water or mineral water beforehand to facilitate sweating. To cleanse your body, it is recommended to shower first. Afterward, begin the infrared sauna session with a dry body.
After use:
After the warm sauna, it is recommended to shower with lukewarm or cold water. Pay attention to gradual cooling. Start with slightly warmer water and then gradually get used to the colder water, including your heart. Replenish lost minerals and fluids with mineral water, high-quality tap water, mineral supplements, or effervescent tablets. Use the sauna no more than once a day! Initially, it is recommended to use it at a lower temperature for shorter periods. Gradually acclimatize your body to the strain of the infrared sauna by increasing the duration and temperature until you reach your ideal condition. After that, the recommended duration is 30-40 minutes per session.
When not to use infrared saunas?
🔹 During feverish illnesses, or in case of any existing illness, consult your doctor.
🔹 When intoxicated.
🔹 During menstruation.
🔹 If you are taking medication, consult your doctor.
🔹 If you have blood pressure sensitivity.
🔹 Pregnant women and up to 6 weeks postpartum.
🔹 Children.
🔹 Elderly people should consult their treating doctor.
The beneficial effects of the sauna:
Refreshment, relaxation, weight loss, and health benefits! Infrared saunas are popular in medicine, sports, and beauty industries for their numerous positive effects on the body.
🔹 They enhance blood circulation, dilate blood vessels, help heal soft tissues and muscles, strengthen the heart muscles, and increase the body’s endurance.
🔹 They have pain-relieving effects: for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, back pain, sciatica, lumbago, headaches, cramps, sprains, and other muscle or bone ailments. Many types of pain in older adults can be alleviated with infrared saunas.
🔹 They can aid in weight loss – the body can burn up to 600-800 calories, much of which is water, but fat loss is also significant. Combined with exercise and proper nutrition, it is an effective fat burner. Infrared saunas are 300% more effective than traditional saunas for fat burning.
🔹 They contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system, detoxifying the body – sweating helps in detoxification by expelling carcinogenic heavy metals (lead, mercury, zinc, nickel, and cadmium), as well as alcohol, nicotine, sodium, sulfuric acid, and cholesterol.
🔹 They provide passive cardiovascular training – strengthening the cardiovascular system.
🔹 They help prevent flu and other respiratory illnesses.
🔹 They improve general well-being, reduce fatigue, positively affect our mental balance, and help in overcoming depression and stress.
🔹 Muscles recover faster.
🔹 The skin becomes firmer, reduces or even eliminates skin imperfections, as well as excellent for cellulite, orange peel skin. The Bionwell infrared saunas have advantages over the Finnish sauna: – They cause less blood pressure increase.
🔹 The carbon fiber heating panels emit 80% infrared rays that heat the body and only 20% heat the air.
🔹 The main season for Finnish saunas is the autumn and winter months, while infrared saunas can be used virtually year-round for detoxification because their temperature is lower than Finnish saunas, between 30-60°C.
🔹 They work at 30-60°C without steam and humidity, thus putting less strain on the body.
🔹 They heat up faster and immediately start warming. It may feel more soothing and relaxing than the traditional sauna, as the infrared sauna temperature is easier to tolerate, and you won’t lose your strength from it.
Enjoy your relaxation and recharge!
